To our wine club members, friends, neighbors, customers– Thank You for your support of Black Ridge Vineyards for all these years!

We’ve been hard at work growing ideal grapes and making them into great wines for 20 years now, and with a heavy heart have decided to stop producing Black Ridge Vineyards wine. We have enjoyed getting to know you chatting in out tasting room and celebrating wine releases with you and we are so grateful you’ve let us and Black Ridge be a part of your life, which is what made this decision so difficult.

We’ve faced many challenges over the years, but with most business our operations ceasing due to the pandemic and having lost nearly all our 2020 harvest from the impact of the CZU Fires, we felt really clear that it is time for us to stop fighting and to stop producing Black Ridge Vineyards wines. We will continue our vineyard with our focus remaining on growing the highest quality grapes and selling to wineries in the area, so hopefully you’ll still find some of our fruit in your glass while visiting local tasting rooms!

We are so grateful for the years of your loyal support and will never forget the joy we’ve shared together, thank you for so many great years! We wish you the very best always, cheers.

The Property

Black Ridge Vineyards is on 80 pristine acres, overlooking the majestic slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains only three miles outside of downtown Los Gatos. The estate’s elevation and geographic orientation is ideal for protection from the harsh coastal winds and lingering fog to receive a full day of sun. The vineyard microclimate also benefits from the Lexington Reservoir half a mile below. These perfect growing conditions are instrumental in producing high-quality, highly approachable wines.
