The primary mission of VSA is to get injured and disabled Veterans out of the house and hospital, and into the therapeutic surroundings of nature and outdoor adventure. VSA has enabled our heroes that have suffered double and triple amputations to experience outdoor adventures they most likely would not be capable of doing on their own.
As women, we tend to put others ahead of ourselves. But if we don’t take care of ourselves, we can’t take care of everyone else around us. So join a friend or family member and make a Go Red Commitment to take action in the fight against heart disease. Because when all of us come together, we can build a culture of health for all.
Los Gatos Ballet, recently awarded 2017 Non-Profit of the Year, strives to ‘Build Community Through Dance’. Los Gatos Ballet’s vision is to cultivate character and empower people through dance. Support helps the Foundation’s efforts to provide high-quality performances, outreach in local and under-served schools, artist enrichment and development programs and opportunities for community involvement.
Through visionary leadership and partnerships with local organizations, the Sharks Alumni Foundation aims to strengthen the Bay Area youth sports community, and support other local causes. The Sharks Alumni Foundation aims to bridge the gap for kids who want to participate in sports, but do not have the financial resources to do so. Through fundraisers and family-friendly community events, the Sharks Alumni Foundation will raise money to that end.
Pacific Stroke Association was founded in 1998 by a group of community members concerned with the lack of awareness of stroke symptoms among the general public and the medical community. They also saw the lack of support services for stroke survivors and their families. Medical treatments, stroke awareness, and support services for stroke have improved significantly since PSA’s founding. We are proud to have taken the lead in that process and partnered with the many individuals and organizations that have transformed stroke care since that time.
Black Ridge Vineyards has joined to become a drop off location for Toys for Tots this year! Help us give back — bring your new, wrapped toys to our tasting room beginning November 16th, 2018.
